Medicare
Seniors enrolling in Medicare at age 65, or at retirement need to make a significant decision. Stick with “original Medicare” and purchase a supplement, or choose a Medicare Advantage plan. With some exceptions, the only time a Medicare Supplement can be elected without underwriting is when turning age 65 or retiring. Medicare Advantage plans, however, can be changed annually in the annual open enrollment period from October 15 through December 7th.
