Medicare

Seniors enrolling in Medicare at age 65, or at retirement need to make a significant decision.   Stick with “original Medicare” and purchase a supplement, or choose a Medicare Advantage plan.    With some exceptions, the only time a Medicare Supplement can be elected without underwriting is when turning age 65 or retiring.    Medicare Advantage plans, however, can be changed annually in the annual open enrollment period from October 15 through December 7th.

Medicare Supplements

For the ultimate coverage

Medicare Supplements provide the best coverage as any provider that accepts Medicare can be used - no PPO or HMO networks. With Medicare supplements, a PDP (prescription drug plan) is also needed. I do offer several of these plans and if you are taking medications that are not on the formularies of the plans I offer, I will help you find a more appropriate plan.

Medicare Advantage

PPO's, HMO's, etc.

I offer a selection of plans, most include prescription drug coverage. These plans replace traditional Medicare and are required to have an "actuarial value" just as great as Medicare.
