When can I retire?

Financial Planning

Financial planning is much more than figuring out when you can retire.  During your working life there are many things in life that need to be funded:  house, college, weddings, etc.  During this pre-retirement phase, life insurance planning is critical.   But after these mid-life projects are funded, there needs to be enough savings and retirement income to cover living expenses and ultimately end of life long term care expenses.

Things a financial plan can help:

  • determining when you can retire, and the probility of success
  • planning for college funding
  • determining how much life insurance is needed
  • planning for long term care
  • determining risk level and asset allocation
  • tax planning
  • budgeting
  • optimizing the filing for social security

I’m not tied to any particular company, and I don’t have quotas or sales incentives that influence my recommendations. While I may earn commissions on certain financial products, my role is to help you understand your options so you can make informed decisions. Accepting this complimentary financial plan does not create any obligation, moral or otherwise, to purchase anything from me. My goal is simply to provide clarity and support as you plan for the years ahead.  I believe I am uniquely positioned due to my extensive experience working with life, health, annuities, social security, medicare, etc. so to help you achieve your life goals.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q:  Is there a catch?

A:  No, initial basic financial plan is completely free as well as a personalized account with web portal showing a snapshot of your financial plan

Q:  Why are you giving this for free?

A:  Many financial planners charge a lot for their services including fees of up to 1.00% of assets per year.   For a very long time I have wanted to be able to help those that are left out due to the high cost and I’m not in a position in life that I can do so.

Q: How do you get paid?

A: I will get commission on any life, annuity, long term care, or health insurance policy you puchase from me.   There is no obligation to puchase any of these products from me.   For a small monthly fee I will provide an enhanced web portal allowing levels of customization.

Q: Are you a registered reprentative?

A: No, I am not (and don’t intend to be) registered with FINRA.  So I cannot buy/sell recurities, sell variable life or annuity products, or even recommend invested asset allocations.  However, I can help you to determine your risk profie and answer any questions you have about these products (as I have a lot of knowledge about them)
